Susan Precious*
Susan has over 20 years experience in health law. She advises physicians, health profession colleges and other regulators.

Susan has acted as general counsel, College counsel, and independent legal counsel in the full scope of regulatory issues, including complaints and investigations, discipline, registration and licensing, marketing and advertising, scope of practice and policy. For physicians, she has extensive experience in hospital privileging matters, as well as College complaints and civil litigation.
Before starting a law firm with Fritz Gaerdes, Susan worked at one of Vancouver’s top boutique firms, at Atlantic Canada’s largest law firm, and at the University of Pretoria in South Africa where she managed health and human rights programs for international organizations.
Susan is an experienced litigator having conducted many lengthy hearings but enjoys finding her clients practical and creative solutions.
